Unity Tutorial 06

Here is the last part of the previous Unity Tutorial 05.

This part of the tutorial was called Particles and Sound Effects.

Sound Effects
Unity is staring to get to my head with this slow, restarting, shutting down mindset...my Lord it is eating me alive. The game was looking ok, but it was still missing some important things such as the sound effects and particle effects. The sounds and music will give life into the
game otherwise the game world would be silent with a character jumping and crashing like a weird person. Also the particles will make the player’s actions more dynamic and eye-catching for the player.

In this last part of the Unity Tutorial I had to do as follows:
  1. Customise my own explosion particle device
  2. Test and play the explosion particle
  3. Add some sort of dirt splatter particle
  4. Add a type of music into the camera object
  5. Declare the variables of the audio clips
  6. Play the audios while jumping or crashing
After all that hassle I finally then learnt how to add sound effects and explosion to the game. Adding particle effects on the characters feet and playing & stooping the audio in the game.

Gladly that is finished :)
